23-4-08 Gutters and Fascias

The Gutters and Fascias have now been
attached and we're very happy with the colours.

The timber for the roof tiles has been delivered...

...and so have the tiles :-)

I assume the bricks and sand should be arriving any minute now....

Looking good, great to see things are arriving at a good pace. What type of tiles did you select? Colour looks nice from what I can see in the photos.
Interesting that your Island Bench services were done differently to M&M's (and I think the same as P&B's) Looks alot cleaner the way they've done yours. Are you having a power point in the Island?

Looks like the plumbing to your island bench was done the right way. They forgot ours, that's why ours looks like it was done as an afterthought...

How can they forget your plumbing M&M!!!??

Hi HTB, Yes we'll probably fit a powerpoint on the Island bench. As there is already electrical services for the dishwasher, I'm going to get a sparky in after handover to run a double powerpoint to the side of the bench as well (aside of the list of other electrical items being done post-handover).
With the roof tiles, we chose the std 'Macquarie' Category 1 profile. The colour is Gunmetal. Should match nicely with the Woodland Grey gutters.
The plumbing for the Sink appears very tidy and I assume the exit point near the outside wall will sit under the pot drawers so as not to ipede the cabinetry.

Hope the Gunmetal ties in nicely with the W/land Grey as we have picked those two colours too. Our roof is Striata Cat.2 tile as we had to upgrade roof due to covenant on Estate. We initially thought about having a colorbond roof but now that I'm spending an extra $4700 on the kitchen we've gone back to tiles which I think was about an $1100 upgrade. Figured the kitchen was more important to me than the roof! We can't have GPO on side of Island now due to have QQ apron so it's now going in the single cupboard next to the set of drawers. Should work okay there (I hope). Toni
